I recently created my own teacher website! I made it using weebly, which is a program designed to help people put together websites for personal or professional reasons. I felt really comfortable using the website as all of the functions were pretty easy to manage. I enjoyed creating my website as it has always been something I have wanted to do. I visited a high school AP Psychology and AP World History teacher's website. She is also the sponsor for the NHS, Rho Kappa, and SOAR. I have not done much with it yet, but from what I can tell, the platform is simple and easy to navigate. I think once I know more about Diigo and how I will be using it in class I will have a stronger opinion on the website.   Blogging so far has been simple and easy. I do struggle however with writing in an informal style. I can write informally when I need to, but I find when I am given a specific prompt with a specific audience, I tend to get right to the point and use more professional sounding grammar and sentence structure. I also think that I have been so hardwired to give a formal response to assignments that it is difficult to add more informal writing into this kind of work. So far, I have learned how to write blogs, and how to navigate blogger. I already had a general sense about what blogs were, but it is great to be able to w
